Optical Remote Sensing Wavelengths

Spaceborne optical sensors split electromagnetic energy into specific ranges called bands. By comparing reflectance differences across absorption bands (like Red) and reflection bands (like NIR), we calculate the health, moisture, and composition of surface features.
